The process is designed to screen projects before shipping, document each approved return, and prevent unexpected work from beginning without authorization.

We determine whether the product appears to contain a serviceable lithium battery and whether it may qualify for evaluation.
Approved customers receive a Service Authorization Number, shipping instructions, and the downloadable service packet.
After arrival, the battery and device are inspected and tested. Paid work requires approval unless the selected service was prepaid.
Approved work is completed, the device is functionally tested, and the item is prepared for return shipping.
Acceptance depends on battery chemistry, construction, condition, replacement-cell availability, electronics, safety, and the ability to access and reassemble the product.
Timing varies based on the device, battery construction, parts availability, testing requirements, project complexity, and current workload.

These timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed completion dates. Priority service receives queue priority but remains subject to parts, testing, and project complexity.
If United Lithium Solutions performs an approved Battery Revival service and the serviced battery does not restore the intended battery-powered operation, ULS will refund the battery-service charge.
Shipping, approved diagnostic charges, chargers, control boards, device electronics, physical damage, water damage, proprietary software or firmware restrictions, and non-battery failures are excluded. The guarantee applies only to the battery service described on the approved estimate.
Is your ForeFlight Sentry no longer holding a charge, shutting down unexpectedly, or operating only while plugged in? ULS evaluates the internal lithium battery and performs approved cell-replacement service when the project qualifies.
Do not ship a battery or device that is swollen, leaking, punctured, smoking, unusually hot, fire-damaged, recalled, or visibly unsafe. Contact ULS and provide photographs before taking the item to a carrier. The downloadable packet does not replace carrier packaging, documentation, acceptance, or hazardous-material requirements.
No. Submit photographs and product information first. ULS must issue written approval or a Service Authorization Number before the device is shipped.
Yes. The remote photo review is free. A paid diagnostic may apply after the approved item arrives and is physically inspected.
No. Photo approval means the project appears eligible for physical evaluation. Final serviceability can only be determined after the battery and device are inspected and tested.
Yes. The diagnostic fee is credited toward an approved Battery Revival repair when the customer approves the service quote.
Some products may qualify for a capacity upgrade. Approval depends on the enclosure, charger, protection electronics, cell configuration, thermal limits, operating requirements, and available replacement cells.
The customer is responsible for inbound and return shipping unless a product listing or written ULS estimate states otherwise.
Include the completed first page of the Service Authorization Packet and only the device, battery, charger, power supply, or accessories requested by ULS. Attach Page 3 securely to the outside of the box.
No. The ULS Battery Revival Center page is intended for approved portable and specialty lithium devices rather than e-bike battery rebuilds.
